Keep the lights on — even when the grid goes down.

Battery systems let homeowners store excess solar energy and keep their power running during outages. Whether you’re preparing for storms, protecting medical equipment, or simply wanting more control over your energy, we design custom battery solutions that fit your home and lifestyle.

FranklinWH

The FranklinWH energy storage system provides an open and robust home energy management solution that integrates solar, battery, grid, generator, and EV power sources, providing power backup during outages, peak periods, or even off-grid. FranklinWH intelligently manages and optimizes energy supply and is used to reduce, and eliminate electricity bills, enabling 100% Energy Freedom.

And with the new aPower 2, homeowners can back-up more to improve ROI by offsetting more grid energy use and costs.

ROBUST

With the all-new aPower 2, homeowners can store more power with a single battery, while cutting down on time spent on manually managing home loads. With the aPower 2, you will be able to start a 5-Ton AC unit and run it at the same time as other large appliances, with even more opportunities for load automation. Couple your savings with a generous 15-year warranty (50% longer than competitor brands) and daily cycles to accommodate Time of Use (TOU) customers. You will save more in the long run.

The aGate’s beefy 280A busbar allows more power and loads to be connected to the home to serve your modern appliances or EV while helping you reduce your bills. The 280A busbar combined with a superior Energy Management System (EMS) which has a (PCS) function helps avoid main panel upgrades (MPUs). MPUs usually result in substantial extra cost and project timelines.

RELIABLE

The FranklinWH aPower is a low-noise, naturally cooled and no-moving parts product to ensure your home is safe and secure. Rest assured that the aPower 2 will continue to power your home through the increasingly common extreme weather events that comes your way ̶ with a weather rating for as low as -4° F and up to 130° F.

With the Storm Hedge enabled in the FranklinWH App, when your unit receives a National Weather Service (NWS) alert, the FranklinWH system charges the aPower to full capacity and reserves power for potential outages.

The FranklinWH Smart Circuits independently manage specific high-power loads, turning them on or off on schedule or manually, as needed to prioritize essential devices during outages. They also provide control for devices to run at low-cost times according to time of use (TOU) schedules.

For further peace-of-mind, the FranklinWH system allows integration of generators to reinforce power resilience when the grid fails and solar alone is not sufficient.

FLEXIBLE

The aPower 2 is the first residential battery to use second-generation grid-scale cells that allow for high aggregated throughput of 60MWh and 70% remaining life after 15 years. The best part? FranklinWH products are compatible with all PV inverters, ensuring easy installation and enhanced safety through AC coupling. This makes them ideal for homes with either new or existing solar.

With the future of net metering in the balance for many states across the U.S., you can still capitalize on solar savings by utilizing the aPower 2 as your microgrid. Homeowners who go with FranklinWH typically see an average of 16.7% more bill savings than competitor products.

Looking for more power to back up your home? No problem. Homeowners can scale up to 15 aPower units per aGate to satisfy even the largest household demand.

Take charge of your future and achieve energy freedom with FranklinWH.
